Step Into the Studio in Alpharetta
Have you ever wondered what happens inside the control room on your favorite songs? Bach to Rock’s Recording Arts private lessons introduce students to the world of sound engineering and music production. Students work alongside a Bach to Rock audio engineer. Learning is hands-on, using industry standard microphones, recording equipment, and Digital Audio Workstations. From capturing a live band’s performance to fine tuning a solo vocal take, every session builds real studio skills. (Recording studio space and equipment varies by location. Check with your local Bach to Rock for additional info.)
From Recording to Mixing
Students will learn the fundamentals of microphone placement, signal flow, and how to capture high fidelity sound. The curriculum covers techniques for getting the best sound out of the recording space. From there, lessons move into the mixing and production phase using Pro Tools, one of the music industry’s most widely used software suites. Students get hands-on experience creating instrument tracks, balancing levels, and producing a finished song.
