May 2026 Student of the Month – Rhett J

My name is Rhett J. and I take piano (Kids n Keys) lessons at Bach to Rock East Marietta.

What inspired you to play music? I took music lessons when I was a toddler and wanted to learn to play an instrument.

What is your favorite style of music? K-pop.

Who is your favorite artist and why? HUNTR/X from KPop Demon Hunters because they sing my favorite song, Takedown.

What is your favorite song to play? Musette by Johann Sebastian Bach.

What are you learning right now in your lessons? Sharps and flats, changing hand positions.

What are you most looking forward to learning/performing? I am most looking forward to learning how to play harder songs.

What’s your favorite thing about Bach to Rock? I like playing piano there.

What is your favorite thing about your teacher? Ms. Rebecca lets us play freeze dance and makes class fun.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not playing music? Playing dinosaur games and playing outside at the park.
