How Bach to Rock Will ‘Realize All of Its Potential’ Under a New Owner

Music education franchise Bach to Rock has a new owner with an ambitious vision. Youth enrichment portfolio company Spark Harbor has acquired the 57-unit franchise, with plans to double its unit count over the next four years. Spark Harbor’s portfolio also includes Water Babies and USA Ninja Challenge, making Bach to Rock a natural fit for its child enrichment focus.

The brand spent recent years, under the leadership of President Brian Gross, building infrastructure over rapid expansion, and last year hired Amy Przywara — who spent two decades in marketing at Sylvan Learning — as its chief marketing officer. That groundwork, combined with Spark Harbor’s scaling experience, has Gross and Spark Harbor’s Jeff Phillips confident the franchise is ready to grow. As Phillips put it, Bach to Rock is “one of the best youth enrichment concepts in the country.”
