Music & Arts
Music & Arts has served students, teachers, and families through retail stores and school representatives since 1952. Based in Frederick, MD, the company specializes in instrument rentals, music lessons and band and orchestra instrument sales. Music & Arts was acquired by Guitar Center, Inc. in April 2005 to expand its offerings to the beginning and student musician. Music & Arts now has over 100 retail locations in 19 states.
Bean Bar
Bean Bar is a locally owned coffee bar created with the Northbrook community in mind. We believe great coffee brings people together, and we’ve built our space to feel warm, relaxed, and inviting. A place to meet, stay awhile, and feel at home.
Carol’s Cookies
Carol’s Cookies are still sold at upscale grocery stores, gift shops, and specialty shops throughout the United States in nineteen gourmet cookie flavors all handmade in our bakery daily. We offer all fifty states the opportunity to order my handmade cookies online, to be delivered right to your front door in 48 hours or less. It’s no wonder that Carol’s Cookies has long been known as “More Than Just a Cookie….”
Goldfish Swim School
Goldfish Swim School in Northbrook provides swim lessons for children ages 4 months through 12 years in our warm, indoor facility designed for year-round swim instruction. Whether your child is a beginner just getting comfortable in the water or continuing to refine strokes and build endurance, we have the ideal class for their age and abilities. Our experienced swim teachers prioritize water safety skills and positive reinforcement, creating a fun, nurturing environment. Available year-round, our structured curriculum allows children to progress at their own pace, while celebrating milestones and building confidence.
