Hazel E

My name is Hazel E., and I take private piano lessons at Bach to Rock East Marietta.

What inspired you to play music? I think music is pretty, and I wanted to learn how to perform the different types of music and sounds.

What is your favorite style of music? Pop

Who is your favorite artist and why? Kidz Bop music because some of the songs make me laugh

What is your favorite song to play? Mozart’s Five Names

What are you learning right now in your lessons? I am working on chords and memorizing notes

What are you most looking forward to learning/performing? I would love to perform Thriller

What’s your favorite thing about Bach to Rock? The teachers

What is your favorite thing about your teacher? He is kind and gives me compliments

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not playing music? Read books, arts/crafts, swimming, and playing with my sister.

Matthew S

My name is Matthew S., and I take drum lessons at Bach to Rock East Marietta.

What inspired you to play music? DragonForce’s drumming and The Amen Break

What is your favorite style of music? Rock, Metal

Who is your favorite artist and why? DragonForce, because they are very skilled.

What is your favorite song to play? Right now my favorite song to play that I learned is Creep, by Radiohead.

What are you learning right now in your lessons? How to play Enter Sandman and quadruplets

What are you most looking forward to learning/performing? Through the Fire and the Flames by DragonForce

What’s your favorite thing about Bach to Rock? The instructors

What is your favorite thing about your teacher? He’s very good at drums and fun to watch play.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not playing music? Watching videos on music, or my favorite songs.
