Student of the Month – Sam D

Our Student of the Month (June 2023) is Sam D., who takes Drum lessons at Bach to Rock East Marietta. Read the Q&As below to find out more about him!

Q: What inspired you to play music?

A: My mom and dad are both musicians and they inspired me to learn an instrument.

Q: What is your favorite style of music?

A: I love Rock Music

Q: Who is your favorite artist and why?

A: My favorite band is Imagine Dragons because I like their music and it’s fun to dance to.

Q: What is your favorite song to play?

A: I really like playing Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ On A Prayer.”

Q: What are you learning right now in your lessons?

A: Right now, I am learning to play the drum part to “Livin’ On A Prayer” by Bon Jovi.

Q: What are you most looking forward to learning/performing?

A:  I can’t wait to play drums in a band.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about Bach to Rock?

A: I love that Bach to Rock teaches so many different instruments.

Q: What is your favorite thing about your teacher?

A: Mr. Scott makes my lessons and playing the drums fun.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when you’re not playing music?

A: I like to play with Legos and spend time with family.
