Student of the Month – Jareyka T

Our Student of the Month (May 2024) is Jareyka T., who takes Violin lessons at Bach to Rock East Marietta. Read the Q&As below to find out more about her!

Q: What inspired you to play music?

A: I like listening to music

Q: What is your favorite style of music?

A:  My favorite style of music is rock music

Q: Who is your favorite artist and why?

A: Linkin Park because my parents used to listen it

Q: What is your favorite song to play?

A: In the End by Linkin Park

Q: What are you learning right now in your lessons?

A: I am currently learning about key signatures

Q: What are you most looking forward to learning/performing?

A: Learning how to make the violin rock

Q: What’s your favorite thing about Bach to Rock?

A: I love how Bach to Rock is so organized

Q: What is your favorite thing about your teacher?

A: My favorite thing about my teacher is that he is funny.

Q: What do you enjoy doing when you’re not playing music?

A: One of my favorite things to do when I am not playing music is drawing.

“The reason I chose Jareyka for student of the month is because she has been having an amazing attitude in class and has been putting in a lot of effort into improving her violin playing. She’s gained a lot of confidence in her playing and has been choosing challenging songs for her repertoire which has significantly improved her technique .”
