Baby & Toddler Music Classes in Scarsdale, NY
Our Rock n Roll program offers baby and toddler music classes for ages 1-3! These weekly, parent-and-child classes include fun activities like sing-alongs, story time, and instrument exploration. Class duration is 45 minutes.
Rock n Roll gives young children the perfect introduction to music! At Bach to Rock®, we know how much fun music can be for babies and toddlers. We also know how helpful music can be for early childhood development.
Through our baby and toddler music lessons, we make music fun for parents and children. At the same time, we foster important musical skills, as well as early development in areas like reading, math, and coordination!
After Rock n Roll, many of our students graduate to future music lessons, including our Rock City® preschool music classes!

Rock n Roll includes a wide range of musical activities for young children. Below are some of the activities that you and your child can expect in our baby and toddler music classes!
Moving to Music
In Rock n Roll, students get to move along to music. Whether they’re a buzzing bee or a shooting rock star, babies and toddlers learn how to express themselves and connect with songs. This activity also builds active listening skills, and develops locomotor and coordination abilities!
Sing-Alongs
Children love to sing from an early age! Our music classes for toddlers include sing-along activities and build songs into class routines. Parents can bring these songs home to reinforce daily routines, like our ‘Clean Up Song’ for tidying up after playtime!
Instrument Exploration
Rock n Roll introduces babies and toddlers to playing with instruments. Students can unlock their inner musician using instruments like shakers and hand-bells. Babies and toddlers will enjoy making noise, exploring new sounds, and developing their performance skills.
Story Time
Each Rock n Roll class includes story time. Stories encourage active listening and teach lessons via central themes. Students enjoy a range of movement and memory-based activities related to each story and its theme.
Group Activities
Our baby and toddler music classes include group dances and musical activities that vary each week. These activities are tons of fun for young children. They also improve coordination, boost confidence, and help students build life-long friendships!
