Lincoln, NE Welcomes Bach to Rock Music School with August 1 Grand Opening
Open House at the Edgewood Shopping Center Highlights Performances, Tours, & Free Activities
Bach to Rock, America’s modern music school for students of all ages, is excited to announce the grand opening of its newest location in Lincoln, Nebraska. The community is invited to a free celebration on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Edgewood Shopping Center, 5400 S 56th St, Suite 310, Lincoln, Nebraska, 68516. Guests can enjoy guided tours, information sessions, live performances, explore the state-of-the-art recording studio, and participate in free toddler “Mommy and Me” music classes. This new school will serve aspiring musicians from Lincoln and neighboring communities including Waverly, Seward, and Hickman.
The Lincoln music school is led by veteran educator, musician, and Yamaha Performing Artist, Dr. Paul Gausman. With a foundation in both music and educational leadership, Dr. Gausman holds a doctorate from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN and advanced degrees from the University of Sioux Falls and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He earned his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. “In addition to his leadership roles in public education, Dr. Gausman is an accomplished percussionist who has served as a performing artist and clinician for the Yamaha Corporation of America,” said Brian Gross, President of Bach to Rock. “We are looking forward to his expertise and collaborative approach to music education as he takes the helm at Bach to Rock Lincoln.”

Bach to Rock Lincoln offers programs for students of all ages including individual and group lessons in piano, voice, guitar, drums and more; “Rock City” for preschoolers and “Rock and Roll” for toddlers; beginning piano “Kids n Keys” for children in grades K-2; and summer camps and birthday parties. Plus, students can get involved in a glee club or rock band. A special feature is Bach to Rock’s Beat Refinery®, where students learn how to become DJs through practical and artistic training.
