Beat Refinery combines practical and artistic training for aspiring DJs and producers. We can teach you how to master the turntables, as well as industry leading software like Serato and Ableton Live.
What You Can Learn From Beat Refinery at Bach to Rock
- Beginner: Beat Making 101 teaches students the basics of music production. Students learn to create music using an award-winning program that simplifies music production for students.
- Mixing: Our DJ mixing lessons start with fundamental skills, followed by lessons on basic, intermediate, and advanced mixing techniques.
- Scratching: Our DJ scratching lessons include basic scratches as well as techniques like phasing, doubling, and echoing.
- Music Production: Our music production classes use Ableton Live, a leading program with pro musicians and producers.

B2R students see results quickly, motivating them to continue learning. We offer lessons for beginners & pros alike.
Camps, Parties and More…
In addition to our lessons and classes, Bach to rock offers seasonal camps, birthday parties and each location includes a state-of-the-art recording studio and performance space. We hold regular events in the community throughout the year such as DJ Battle, Music Showcase and Bachapalooza. Learning to play music should be fun. It’s called ‘play’ for a reason!
